Illustrated By Mara Breene

BEST FRIENDS: A Lunch Box Treat is about Bing and Maree’s new friendship.  Although the two are from different cultures, they experience common feelings young children have on their first day of kindergarten.

This delightful story and engaging art captures the attention of young readers. The grade level vocabulary builds social confidence and reading skill as it invites beginning readers to enjoy reading the story again and again.
